She is an expert at easing patients into accepting their new avatars, or getting them comfortable with going into the self improvement they desire. She is great at observing, evaluating and drawing out the patient’s concerns. Her manner is gentle, non-intrusive and persuasive. She helps patients understand their issues by helping them understand their inner selves. Dr. Mini Rao utilizes the techniques that she thinks will suit the patient’s personality best. Techniques include psychotherapy, art therapy, meditation directive, non-directive and supportive therapy. Once a suitable technique is established, she plans the frequency, intensity and duration of the therapy.
