Medical Visa

You will need an M­Visa (Medical Visa) or eTourist Visa (eTV) to get medical treatments here in India. It is legally not permissible to undergo medical procedures with a normal / traditional Tourist visa.

Steps to Your eTourist VISA (eTV)

Step 1

Keep the below documents ready:

1. Applicant’s recent coloured photograph (2 inch x 2 inch) size, but less than 1 MB.
2. Copy of Passport Page containing personal particulars.
3. Copy of Letter from Chennai Plastic Surgery on its letterhead.

Step 2

Visit https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/Registration

Step 3

Click on e-VISA Application Tab from the Menu

Step 4

Select eMedical VISA >> Short Term Medical Treatment of Self Option

Step 5

It will ask for the below documents. Upload them and complete the process.
