I had an excellent experience with Dr. Karthik Ram and the entire team at Chennai Plastic Surgery. I came in wanting to improve the shape and proportions of my body, particularly my lateral thighs, love handles/lower back and arms, and what I appreciated most was that Dr. Karthik Ram did not simply agree to everything I asked for. From the beginning, he was very clear and honest about what would actually benefit me, what was safe, and what kind of results could realistically be achieved. He took the time to look at my overall body proportions rather than treating each area separately. That gave me a lot of confidence because I felt that the goal was not just to remove fat, but to create a more balanced and natural-looking shape. I especially appreciated that he was willing to tell me when something wasn’t the right choice for me. He explained my options clearly and allowed me to make an informed decision without ever making me feel pressured. That honesty is something I value tremendously in a surgeon. The entire nursing team also deserves a special mention. They were incredibly kind, patient and reassuring throughout the process. I had so many questions before and after the procedure, and they answered each and every one with a smile. Even when I was anxious about something during recovery, they took the time to explain and reassure me. Their care made a huge difference in my overall experience. What stood out to me about Dr. Karthik Ram was his attention to detail, his honesty and his aesthetic understanding of the body. He made me feel that my individual shape and proportions mattered, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Karthik Ram and his wonderful nursing team for making my experience so comfortable and positive. I first consulted Dr. Karthik Ram in late 2025 while looking for a surgeon for a breast lift and fat grafting. I had already travelled to Bangkok and seen several surgeons, but never felt completely comfortable proceeding. Having previously undergone a double cardiac bypass, I needed a surgeon who was confident managing my medical history — and from my very first conversation with Dr. Ram, I felt reassured by how knowledgeable and clear he was about how he wanted to approach my case. I also started with some facial aesthetic treatments, and that's when I discovered his real artistic touch. He approaches a face the way someone sketches a portrait — refining it gradually and looking at the whole rather than treating individual areas in isolation. When I returned to Singapore, I had dermatologists asking whether I'd had something done, because I looked good without them being able to pinpoint what had changed. I think that says a lot about the subtlety of his work. What began as a breast lift became an entire body transformation. Over the following year, I trusted him with my breast lift, butt lift and tummy tuck. I'd lost significant weight after gastric sleeve surgery and had a lot of loose skin, and I'm admittedly a perfectionist. What I appreciated most was that he took even my smaller concerns seriously and looked at my overall proportions rather than each surgery on its own. With my tummy tuck, for example, he also addressed the loose skin on my thighs and my hip-to-waist transition, because he could see how those areas affected my overall shape. That level of detail really shows in the results. He's also not a surgeon who simply says yes to everything. There were things I wanted that he advised against or asked me to reconsider, and he was always transparent about what is safe, what can realistically be achieved and where the limitations are. I came to trust him more precisely because I knew he'd tell me what he genuinely thought rather than what I wanted to hear. After three major surgeries, my experience is that Dr. Karthik Ram is meticulous, honest, caring and has an exceptional aesthetic eye. With my medical history I needed to feel safe, but I also wanted a surgeon who understood proportions and cared about the smallest details. I found both in him. The fact that I started out consulting surgeons in different countries and ultimately came back to him for three major surgeries probably says everything. It was indeed a great journey with Dr.Karthik and team .When I first came for consultation regarding hair transplantation (FUT) he examined my hair clearly explained me about the whole procedure ,what to expect and what not expect .He also suggested on post procedure care which great helpful .After speaking with him ,I got clear picture of what I was going through .On the procedure day the entire crew helped me calm down and post surgery I was taken care really well. after a month the result was it's just  amazing .I'm feeling really happy .My special thanks to Dr Arvind he was fantastic .Thankful to each and everyone. keep going and bring more happiness in people lives.
